ISBLANK(value) Function

This function returns a logical value. If the cell indicated by the argument “value” is empty, the function returns TRUE. If the cell contains data of the any type, the function returns “FALSE”. The argument “value” contains the reference to a cell to be evaluated. For example:

=ISBLANK(A6) The function returns TRUE if A6 is empty.
