TAN(number) Function

Calculates the tangent of the argument given as an argument. This function returns a positive numeric value, negative or zero. The tangent is a discontinuous function. The argument “number” can take a negative value, positive or zero. As a discontinuous function, there are values that “number”can not take. If you draw the tangent function, you must choose an appropriate interval to avoid erroneous results. For example:

=TAN(0) Returns 0.
=TAN(PI()) Returns 0.
=TAN(0,5) Returns 0,5.
