COT(number) Function

Calculates the cotangent of the argument “number”. This function returns a numeric value negative, positive or zero. The cotangent is a discontinuos function, therefore, there are values for which the cotangent is not defined. When yoy generate the graph of the cotangent function, you must select the range indicated for not getting erroneos results. For example:

=COT(PI()/2) Returns 0.
=COT(-PI()/2) Returns 0.
=COT(0,5) Returns 1,83.
